Drake’s latest video “What’s Next” was released last night and we are so excited to be amongst several iconic Toronto shooting locations that were featured in the video.

With COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, we have still been able to support the film industry with several shoots for some of the most popular TV shows.

The safety precautions these productions have in place are next level, including cleaners, rapid testing, and groups dedicated to COVID-19 safety.

Keep your eyes peeled while watching some of your favourite shows to see if you can spot The Globe and Mail Centre!

Weddings at The Globe and Mail Centre. This year has changed how we appreciate so many different aspects of being able to get together at a #wedding.

And – for couples and planners reinforced what are the most important, must haves for a celebration.

For some people, marking the occasion with close family and friends is at the centre, and as soon as possible, a #microwedding ceremony is top priority.

For others, the large-scale party is worth waiting for.

But, for some couples - BOTH are just as important, and as a result we’re seeing more and more people who want to book TWO events – a ceremony now, and a second larger scale event one down the road when restrictions are lifted. Its changed how we think about a wedding as a single moment – instead as a much longer, phased and evolving experience!

For this week’s #12weeksofmicroweddings theme, we want to know what #newperspectives have you gained?

When we re-watch this video by @bigticketweddings of our pre-COVID wedding memories – we can see so much of what we used to take for granted! (and why those double events are taking hold!) – And we wonder which couple will get to be the first to have this kind of blow-out bash?

Hybrid meetings are an awesome way to get the best of in-person and virtual meeting experiences – giving your participants the choice to attend in person or dial in from home.
Getting together as a small group can infuse a business session with the energy that sparks when we’re all in the same room. Who hasn’t experienced that important shared that look across the table, or that feeling when you can just tell the group is all on the same page?
For those who can’t attend on site, meeting platforms are an incredible tool, especially when complimented with outstanding audio/visual technology – so you can make sure everyone is able to fully participate no matter where they are.

Clean, safe and easy to get to at our location in downtown Toronto – The Globe and Mail Centre’s Event Hall is your easy hybrid meeting solution.
